I'm Not A Follower

Life is too short to live in someone else’s shadow

You can call me a failure

But you can never call me a coward

I challenge the expected

As I move in the opposite direction

And I don’t need to be accepted

by society

I’m a black sheep

But really

I am a lioness

Goddess of Fire

And if you come at me

I’m gonna burn yo ass

And if you come with hate

You better pray I meditated that day

I don't know what’s got into me

I just know If I’m not writing it

I’m not singing it

If you don’t agree with it

I rather read my

Shit...

I’m a lot of things

I’m a writer

I’m an artist

I’m a lover

I’m a mother

I’m a daughter

I’m a warrior

I’m a foreigner

But there’s one thing I’ll never be though

I’m not a follower
